At The Cultural Health Equity Initiative, we are dedicated to creating positive change in the lives of those who need it most. We will advocate for culturally competent healthcare services that deliver understanding and respect for cultural beliefs, values, practices, and preferences.
The Problem
In the healthcare sector, disparities in care quality and health outcomes are prevalent, particularly affecting individuals from non-dominant social groups. These disparities stem from a complex interplay of social determinants of health, discrimination, and systemic inequalities.
Transforming healthcare is possible. Together, we can make a difference.
Our goal is to donate to hospitals, free clinics, and community health centers around the world with limited healthcare, focusing on educating young children about hygiene and health, and promoting cultural understanding and advocacy.
